Taylor Swift on June 7.
"#FlashbackFriday to that time Cyclops and I went shopping at the mall
and found our favorite singer’s album," Turner captioned it, adding
"(pre 1989, of course)” in reference to Swift’s album 1989. In the X-Men movie still, Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) is holding a record by Dazzler, a mutant pop star character from the Marvel comics.
Deadpool & Wolverine director and co-writer Shawn Levy, 55, has also been spotted hanging out with Swift and their friends Jackman, 55, Reynolds, 47, and his wife Blake Lively, 36, multiple times.
Levy has of course been asked about the “Fortnight” singer’s potential
appearance as Dazzler in the superhero franchise. Speaking with The Wrap in October, the filmmaker opted for “no comment,” adding, “I’m no dummy… You’re going to have to wait and see.”
In a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, before Deadpool & Wolverine even began filming, Reynolds denied the rumors. But then, in an interview with Fandango, the producer-star said that "straight up dishonesty isn't in the cards."
He added at the time, "Movies like this, there's so much speculation
about so many people that might end up in the film. I saw one that was
convinced Elvis was in the movie… Anything can happen and that's sort of
what I love about this universe. Surprises are the essence of
Deadpool.”
